Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement: By hiring Power Washing 219, you agree to a legally binding agreement for the work to be completed on an agreed-upon date and at an agreed-upon price. Additional charges may apply for extra work. In the event of breaking the agreement, any deposits made will be forfeited as damages if the rescheduling is done less than 72 hours before the appointment. Estimated prices may change if additional work is added during the job.
2. Service Warranties:
Roof Soft Washing & 10-Year & 5-Year Limited Warranty: Power Washing 219 follows industry-standard SoftWash process and procedures and offers a 10-Year & 5-year warranty. If any mold, mildew or moss growth is observed within 12 months of the service, Power Washing 219 will retreat the areas at no charge. From years 2-5 or 10, retreatment will be provided at 50% off the original quoted price. The warranty covers shingles, concrete/clay tile, asbestos and compound surfaces with no pooling on the roof. Tree limbs and debris resting on or within 8 feet of a roof surface can void the warranty.
Gutter Cleaning: The service includes removing debris in the gutter system that inhibits water flow. The service comes with a 90-day guarantee. If clogging happens during this time, Power Washing 219 will return and unclog them at no charge. This does not apply to homes with overgrown trees within 8 feet of the gutter line or clogs due to improper installation or underground blockage.
House Washing: Comes with a 1-year algae-free guarantee. Power Washing 219 will do a spot treatment if algae growth appears on your home.
Furniture/Upholstery Cleaning: Hard furniture will be soft washed, upholstery will be treated in one of three ways, wipe down, light spray, or soak.
Soaking upholstery will require extended drying period time, and may require follow-up visits to ensure best results
Flat Work: Power Washing 219 utilizes both pressure and soft washing methods to clean flat work. The pressure washing method warranty offers a 6-month algae-free cleaning guarantee.
Paver Cleaning, Sanding & Sealing: Power Washing 219 guarantees pavers to be clean for 6 months unsealed and 12 months when sealed. Sand will be uneven and will not look like grout.
3. Water Usage: Power Washing 219 has the right to use on-site water supply to complete the stated project without compensation. If an offsite water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. The customer is responsible for providing access to the water supply before Power Washing 219 arrives.
5. Courtesy: The customer is responsible for keeping all children, pets, vehicles and other individuals away from the work area while Power Washing 219 is performing work on the property. Children and pets must be kept off and away from the work surface for at least 24 hours after the work is completed.
6. Payments: Payments are due at the time of service and are to be paid by check, cash, or agreed-upon debit/credit cards. All balances are due upon completion of the job, and late charges will be assessed on all balances not paid in accordance with agreement terms. The customer agrees to pay any collection cost incurred by Power Washing 219 related to the collection process of outstanding balances.
7. Scheduling: The customer is responsible for scheduling appointments, and any rescheduling must be done at least 2 days before the appointment. Power Washing 219 is not responsible for any changes in productivity due to the weather.
8. Removal and Replacement of Deck Contents: Homeowners are responsible for the removal and replacement of all deck furniture, grills, planters, and other items. If Power Washing 219 needs to remove any items, they will not be held responsible for any damage, breakage, or storage issues. An additional charge of $50.00 per hour with a minimum of $50.00 will be applied for time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.
9. Damages: Power Washing 219 will not be held responsible for damages caused by improperly installed siding, loose shingles, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters, paint, and improper caulking. Sun and weather may cause fading or bleaching of color in paint. will not be responsible for any resulting conditions. They will also not be responsible for loose mortar dislodged during the cleaning process or paint changing color when exposed to bleach. Properly prepped and painted surfaces are not affected by bleach.
10. Stains: Some stains, such as tree sap, artillery fungus, and paint splatters, cannot be removed by conventional means of power washing or soft washing. Power Washing 219 will make every effort to identify and point out such areas to the customer during project quoting. However, they cannot guarantee the removal of artillery fungus from the exterior of the house. Power Washing 219 does not guarantee the complete removal of oil.
11. Property Condition: Power Washing 219 assumes that the property is in good repair and weather-tight, including all electrical services, receptacles, light fixtures, doors, and windows. They will not be responsible for damages resulting from water infiltration due to poor or improper installation, maintenance, or repair of these items.
12. Window Cleaning: Window cleaning is not included unless specified, and hard water and calcium in the water may cause water spotting on windows. Does not include hard water spot or paint overspray removal. (not a squeegee cleaning). We will not dry the edges with a towel.
13. Gutter Brightening: Standard soft wash does not include gutter brightening, and gutters may accumulate dirt, grime, and oxidation.
14.Scope of Work: Only the services listed in the quote/estimate are included. Any additional requested work will require a separate charge.
15.Surface Performance: Certain stains—including rust, artillery fungus, oxidation, sap, and oil—may not fully remove. Power Washing 219 does not guarantee full removal of permanent staining.
16.Completion & Satisfaction: Completion of payment indicates 100% satisfaction of the services completed. Customer must inspect the completed work within 24 hours. Any concerns must be reported within this period.
